Willowdale, Nuclear Plants, Puppies and Play Houses

Dear Diary,

I think I wrote about this earlier, but we moved again. Oh yeah, I remember now! I told you in a Spoiler Alert! So yah, we moved to Willowdale Farms and live next to the Hope Harbor School now.

We have a big house with lots of pretty flowers and blindingly glowy grass. I think maybe we live near a nuclear plant that has seeped into the ground to make the grass so glowy. Mommy kinda fixed it, so you can't really see it in the first picture, so here's another of what it looked like when I first saw it.

Scary, huh? If you start noticing that I'm growing another arm, then PLEASE let me know! I'll tell Daddy to have the EPA test the soil.

Monday night came with a couple of surprises. After school, Mommy and Daddy took me to the puppy pound so that I could pick out a new puppy! I spotted this adorable little Golden Corgi and named her Penny. She's a tiny little puppy and fits on my shoulder. When she wags her tail, her whole bottom wiggles. After she ate her dinner, she passed out in her food bowl and fell asleep! She's so cute but oh-so-funny!

Later that night, Sissy logged on and told me that she had a surprise for me. I had NO IDEA what she had done, and I was kinda afraid she had convinced the police that I was that black and white kid in the Wanted poster! Well, luckily I have the bestest Sissy evar, because she didn't turn me in! She surprised me with a play house in the back yard of our new home! Can you believe that, Dear Diary?!?! We have out own play house now, and it has a LOT of pink in it!

Dear Diary, I won't point out something in a couple of the photos, but if you take a close look, you might see something incriminating, I mean interesting! Anyway...Mommy, Daddy, Sissy and I hung out in the play house for awhile until it was time for me to go nitenite. I fell asleep on the day bed in the play house, and it was the best day evar!

The puppy pound is known as AI Friends, and you can also buy kitties there, too!

I better go see what Penny is up to! Toodlees!

Sunday Sickness

Dear Diary,

Sunday was not a good day for me. I started feeling bad Saturday night, and spent almost all day Sunday in bed.

Sissy was at her boring place, so she wasn't around. Mommy kept me entertained by messaging me and wishing me well. It worked! I started feeling better on Monday and was up and at 'em that night.

Sorry there's no adventures to share for Sunday, but I'll have some more soon :D

Old Man & New Friends

Dear Diary,

On Saturday Mommy took me to a new place (new to me, not new to the world) to look around the town of Willowdale. (Spoiler Alert: We're going to be moving there!) So here we are, in the Town Hall, and Mommy was showing me the map of the town when this Old Man walks in claiming to know my Daddy! OMG! Who is he?!?! Mommy said he kinda looked like my Daddy in the eyes, but I wasn't so sure.

He told us that his brother was Santa Claus, and he had to do all the work for Santa, but Santa got all the credit for it. He was a bitter Old Man...very bitter! Before we left, I checked his pockets for some candies, but I only found yucky, sticky cough drops. Blegh!

Later in the day when Mommy and Daddy were looking at houses, I decided to check out some more of Willowdale. When I was in the shopping plaza, I met a new girl who lives in town. She showed me the froze pond, and we slid around on our riding toys! A few minutes later, one of her friends came by, and she slid around, too.

Dear Diary, I am sad to admit this, but I can't remember the girl's name in the red shirt! I remember the other girl's name was Dixie. I should have written it down! Oopsies! Maybe I'll see her again soon!

Soon after meeting new girls in Willowdale, I started not feeling well, but I'll tell you about that another time, k?

Photo Bombed!

Dear Diary,

Remember the last time I wrote you and I said that I had something else happen on Friday that I wanted to tell you later? Well, now is later!

Mommy wanted to take new family pictures since everyone was online at the same time. It took a LONNNNNG time to get the poses right, but we finally did! Just as we were finishing up, Auntie Skyler dropped by, but she was having problems seeing us because she landed in the neighbors yard, and there's a super force field thingamabob that makes it so that you can't see us unless you're in our yard. So Auntie Sky was walking all around until she could see us. The next thing you know, she walked right into our picture!

Photo Bombed!

Seriously, I laughed and laughed and laughed, then I LOL'd and ROFL'd and all sorts of other laughing.

Here's one of the photos that Mommy took of us. She took some more later with Auntie Skyler, but those are still being developed or something.

Wasn't that funny Dear Diary?

Bicycling & Slumber Party

 Dear Diary,

Friday was an awesome day! It all started when Lilli and I got out our bicycles and rode through the neighborhood. I followed behind Lilli so that I could keep an eye on her in case she got hurt. The next thing I know, Lilli has found the police station! OMG! If you remember, Dear Diary, there's some bank robbers out there that look a lot like Lilli and me (except they're black and white), so I was kinda nervous that they might see us and think that we're those robbers. The next thing I know, Lilli is telling me that we should hide the money there because no one would suspect it to be hidden right by the police station, and I'm all like WHAT MONEY!?!?!? Uhm... Maybe I shouldn't be telling you about this Dear Diary. Someone might think that we have the money, right?

On our way back home, Lilli banged her head twice when she ran into a tree and a fire hydrant! She was okay, though, so we made it back home. She was a little bloody, but Daddy put a band aid on her and kissed it to make it better. Then he picked us both up and snuggled us close. Daddy is the best booboo healer of all time! :D

Later that night, Lilli and I were invited to a slumber party for my friend Cierra's 6th Rez Day Celebration! We talked and giggled and rolled around the floor, then we went upstairs to play Greedy where I won! YAY! WE were going to eat some snacks, but Lilli was getting sleepy by then, so we went back upstairs for Cierra's Auntie Tia to read us a story. We all piled in bed together to listen to the story, then Lilli fell asleep, and I fell asleep not long after that. We had an AWESOME time at the party and can't wait to go to more or have our own parties at our home! I'm so happy that Lilli got to go with me. She's so fun, especially for a little Sister....and a 2-year old :D

I have another funny that happened on Friday, but I need to write about that another time. Please don't tell anyone about where we hid the money, k?

Mickey D's and Up To No Good

Dear Diary,

I have some exciting news to share with you! Are you ready? You sure? Positive? Okay, I'll tell you! I have a Sissy! Well, we're officially on trial, but so far she's pretty much awesome :D Her name is Lilli, and she has a dragon named Herbert. Lilli and Herbert moved in with us on Wednesday!

After Lilli got her bedroom setup, Mommy and Daddy took us to Mickey D's for dinner and play time! Well, we got there, and there was no one there to serve the food, but we did get the play time and candy and toys! Mommy and Daddy said we'll go back some other time when they're serving food. I got a doll in my Happy Meal Toy Box, then we played Pinata where we won all kinds of prizes!

After we have won all the prizes evar, we rode the bumper cars in the front play area. We bumped around for awhile, then I hopped into the car with Lilli, and we rode around for awhile until she finally escaped outside of the Mickey D's. We rode alllllll around the snow until we found a bank. I robbed the bank, and Lilli was our get away driver. I probably shouldn't be writing this to you, Dear Diary, but you won't tell anyone, right? I didn't think so :D

Well, someone did tell on us, but we're not admitting to anything! There's a Wanted Poster out there with a picture that looks a little bit like us, but not quite since it's in black and white, and we're in color. I don't think anyone will figure it out. We look totally different than this picture, right?

I really do love my new Sissy! I have faith that it's going to work out with all of us. We're all a good fit for each other and seem to want the same things in our SLives.

I'm all caught up for now, Dear Diary. I'm sure there will be more adventures very soon for me to tell you all about. Hey, don't forget to keep the bank robbery thing a secret, k?

Sunbeams & HKE & Surprises!

Dear Diary,

I still have some catching up to do, don't I? Let me tell you about Monday!

On Monday before school, I went to this week's meeting of the Somersley Sunbeams scouting troop! There were several girls there that I hadn't met yet, but then there was also Dacey, so I wasn't too shy. Ms. Jamiee surprised us by redecorating the meeting headquarters and growing grass istead of carpet! We sat on mushrooms as she taught us the Sunbeams Law and Sunbeams Roots. We also talked about being fair and truthful and how important those are. She read us The Boy Who Cried Wolf, then we played Musical Chairs.

After scouts was my first day at HardKnock Elementary! I was so excited to start, and Mommy took me to school and to my classroom the very first day! I got a new backpack and lunchbox, too :D My teacher is Ms. Brea and there's a few kids in my class that I had never met before. They're all kinda quiet, and I tried talking to some, but they didn't seem to say much. I'm not sure that school is the best place for me right now, but I'm going to go a few more times before I decide.

When I got home from school, Mommy and Daddy had surprises for me! Mommy made a cupcake cake especially for me that has my name on it, and a bookworm! The cupcakes are in all different flavors, but I chose chocolate, of course! If that surprise wasn't awesome enough, they also surprised me with a GIANT BOUNCY HOUSE MADE OF ICE CREAM!!!! It's out in the back yard where bouncy houses should be (Mommy says they don't belong inside my bedroom, but I keep trying!), and it is so much fun! Sometimes it throws me off and other times I can't seem to get off of it.

Dear Diary, this was an awesome day and definitely one to put in the books! You can also read what Mommy had to say about today in her diary. Shhh! Don't tell her that I peeked ;)

Where Dreams Come True

Dear Diary,

I have been so busy lately that I have not written you in a few days! But really, it's a good thing because I've been busy with fun things! Let's see what all I need to tell you. I''ll write a separate post for each day so they don't get too long, k?

On Sunday night, Mommy and Daddy treated me to a mini-vacation before starting school the next day. They knew I would be studying hard once school started, so they wanted me to have a little bit of fun first. You know what else? They let me bring my bestie Dacey along! Guess where we went? ONCE UPON A KINGDOM! YES! For reals!

OMG! We had so much fun on the rides, but some of them made us very dizzy, and we ran into stuff when we got off the ride. But still, it was very fun! :D But first, we all rode together (including Auntie Skyler) in Mommy's new SUV.

We rode the horse carriage to the castle, then we rode the Carousel, Dumbo's flying ride and the Tea Cups! The best part was that I got to spend some time with the people who mean the most to me and make my SLife the best!

You can visit Once Upon A Kingdom, too!

That was my Sunday, Dear Diary. Could it have been any better? Hold on tight because I'm going to tell you about Monday, too! :D

Newspaper & Scouts & BESTIE!

Dear Diary,

I've mentioned before that I am writing for the Aspen Guardian newspaper, the community paper for Aspen Springs where we live. I've been working really hard on it and been busy preparing, interviewing and writing articles. I have to say, I love my job on the newspaper! I've completed one article and preparing for another one already. This may be my dream job :D

I am officially THE Investigative Reporter for the Aspen Guardian, and I have my own desk at the newspaper office and use it when I write and research for my articles. I got it all setup yesterday with some personal items so it feels like home.

I also got a new bike that fits me better! Being my size, it's hard to find one that doesn't sink into the ground when I ride it. Weird, huh? I love riding my bike around town, and it makes going back and forth from the newspaper office much more fun (and easy)!

Saturday night was also my first meeting of the Somersley Sunbeams, a scout troop for girls! I volunteered to take the meeting minutes for the team to practice more of my writing. Ms. Jamiee Fox is our leader, and my Mommy is going to help out, too. For our first meeting, we mostly talked about what Ms. Jamiee has planned and some activities that the girls would like to do with the Sunbeams. I'm more than a lot excited to be a Sunbeam! I'm starting out as a Marigold until I earn six badges and move on to the Poppies!

At the meeting, I met three other girls that I became friends with. I also met my bestie there! Her name is Dacey Paine, and she's the coolest Red I've ever met, and quite possibly the coolest girl I've ever met, too! We've been talking a lot since we met, and we have a lot in common, as well as a similar history. I am already loving hanging out with her and can't wait to see what kinda trouble we can get into!

You should check out the Somersley Sunbeams Headquarters at

The Aspen Guardian has an office, too!

That's all for now! Next time I'll tell you about my trip to the Magic Kingdom and some more about Dacey!

Ice Cream & Slumber Parties

Dear Diary,

Friday night was a big night for me! First, Mommy and Daddy took me for ice cream where I got 5, count them ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR-FIVE scoops of ice cream in all different flavors. I can't even remember all the flavors I got because it was so many! Mommy also wrote about our ice cream treat, too!

After I was all hyped up on ice cream, I went to my new friend Kyia's house for a Plurk Slumber Party! She had karaoke, dancing, trivia and popcorn. Oh, and of course silliness! I made a few friends with the other girls there, and I hope that I get to know them better. I was the Trivia Princess and answered several trivia questions before everyone else. I had so much fun with all of it that I hated to go to bed, but my eyes were getting heavy, and I just couldn't stay awake any longer. Luckily Kyia had some sleeping bags laid out, and no one played any pranks on me while I was asleep...that I know of :D

A Big First Day of 2013

Dear Diary,

Yesterday was a big day for Mommy and me! We were interviewed by the Aspen community newspaper's reporter, Penny Field! She wanted to know more about us since we are Aspen's newest residents. She asked us questions about who we are and what we like to do. The best part about it is that I am going to help out at the newspaper and write stories! I've already been given my first assignment, but I'll talk about that later when the paper comes out. I have a little less than a week to investigate and research what Penny wants me to write. This is a photo of Penny interviewing us on the pillows in the living room, and the other photo is where Mommy and I posed with Simon and Garfunkel (my new fish) for a photo for Penny to include with the article.

I also finished some more decorating in my room in our new house in Aspen. Mommy is going to make me some curtains, and a room divider on the other end so that I can have a changing area. I really like living in Aspen, so far. There's a TON of snow there right now, but they said it won't be there all the time...not that I mind living with snow all year!

Finally, I registered for school yesterday! HardKnock Elementary put out the kiosks in the evening, and Mommy went with me to sign up for classes. I am in Ms. Brea's class Monday and Wednesday from 5pm-7pm. I was the first one to register for that class, so I hope others will, too. I want to make lots of friends! I'm going to sign up for some of the after school activities, too, but I don't know yet what. I was hoping they had a Yearbook Team, but I didn't see it on the board. So right now I'm interested in Student Government and Swimming. I guess we'll see how it goes when the time comes.

That's about it for the first day of 2013. It was a busy but fun day, for sure!

Happy New Year!

Dear Diary,

Happy New Year to you! It's 2013 now! I don't know what it is about those last few seconds of a year before changing to the new year that is magical. I know not everyone feels this way, but I do! I love ringing in the New Year with the people I love.

This year I spent New Years Eve with my Mommy and Uncle Mar. Early in the evening, we rode around the Aspen Community to take a look around the community we just moved into. Uncle Mar got a new Hot Rod, so we were stylin'!

Later on, we rang in the New Year by going to our neighbor's house to watch a fireworks show! Our neighbors are Mr. Vic and Mrs. Illy. The community police chief and his daughter, Pinkie, and their dog Truffles stopped by to watch Mr. Vic's show, too. Mrs. Illy put out a special seat for me, and shared some photos, too! I really like living next door to them.

2012 ended on a very good note for me, and 2013 has already started out to be awesome! Happy New Year!

Love,
Arden <3
